So which players have the most Premier League assists? Do not be surprised many die-hard fans of the EPL might not even be able to answer this question. Why? It is because the creators of goals are hardly noticed. It is always about the guy who puts the ball in the back of the net. Even in most major football tournaments, there are no awards for players who lead the assists charts.

We have the golden glove, the golden ball, and the golden boot which goes to the goalkeepers and other outfield players. There is none that recognizes the efforts of the creators. The Premier League is the most watched in the world and has seen the best creators that football has to offer. Here is the leading pack on the all-time list of Premier League assists.

  • #10. Teddy Sheringham

Sheringham is a stalwart of the English football having played for several teams across England. He is more remembered for his spells with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United but the striker also played for West Ham and Portsmouth too. Sheringham is a player who can play as the main striker or second striker and he enjoyed a successful career winning the Premier League thrice. He has 76 Premier League assists.

Beckham’s emergence at Manchester United was due to the ill-fated sale Andrei Kanchelskis. It was a decision the winger claims Ferguson rejected but out of the ashes emerged a young David Beckham in 1992. Beckham would go on to be a legend at Old Trafford winning the Premier League six times. He left Old Trafford in 2003 after his relationship with Ferguson deteriorated. Beckham set up 80 Premier League goals.

Milner has become a Premier League colossus. From Leeds to Newcastle United, Aston Villa, and Manchester City, he has proven himself as a top player. The 34-year old is currently with Liverpool and is not slowing down at all. The versatile player who can play in defensive and attacking positions assisted 84 Premier League goals. He definitely has more to offer with the level of performances he has shown so far.

Silva is one of the best foreign midfielders to ever play in the Premier League. The Spanish playmaker is technically gifted and can do many things from the middle of the park. He can pick a pass, dribble, shoot, and score from set plays as well. Silva who has spent 10 years at the Etihad Stadium has paid his dues and will be leaving at the end of the 2019/2020 season. Silva has 90 Premier League assists to his name.

Bergkamp recorded 94 Premier League assists before retiring with Arsenal in 2006.

Lampard was a classic central midfielder with a thunderous right foot and an eye for a pass. He played for West Ham, Manchester City, and Chelsea amassing 102 Premier League assists.

Rooney is Manchester United’s record goalscorer and ranks second on Premier League’s all-time goalscorer’s list with 208 goals. Rooney was a versatile player in his Premier League days. He was comfortable playing any position in the frontline including the number 10 position. He left the Premier League in 2018 having created 103 goals.

Fabregas had two spells in the Premier League. He played for Arsenal from 2003 to 2011 before moving to Barcelona. He played for the Red Devils from 1990-2014 winning 13 Premier League titles. Giggs set up 162 goals before his retirement. He is the current manager of the Wales national team.
